Diane M. Lewis, age 79, of Port Orange, FL and a long time resident of Cicero, NY passed away on June 30th, 2022. She is survived by her children Katie Lewis of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Jacqueline Stier (Randy) of Central Square, NY, and several stepchildren including Steve Lewis, Keystone Heights, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Don Lewis, whom she loved and cherished beyond words, and her younger sister Jeanne Dupre. Diane was retired but she continued and love working in the Macy’s Wedding department. She spent much of her time working within her AA community and supporting hundreds and thousands of people through their recovery. She was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 46 years, and has joined many of her favorite people at the big AA meeting in the sky. Diane was a queen in her own right, and enjoyed spending her time at the beach, on cruises, traveling with friends, spending time with loved ones. Her favorite things in the world were chocolate ice cream, Princess Diana, and helping others — her greatest strength. No flowers please, direct any donations to the hospice center of Port Orange or your local AA affiliate in loving memory of all the good that Diane brought to this world. A celebration of life will be held at LaCosta Village Clubhouse, 1275 LaCosta Village BLVD., Port Orange on Friday July 15th, 2022 from 3:00PM-6:00PM ET. There will also be a celebration of life planned in upstate NY Fall 2022 to honor Diane and her sister Jeanne.
