Rose M. (Caster) Springer

Rose M. Springer, 79, of Central Square, passed away on January 11, 2022. She was born on November 13, 1942 in Syracuse to the late Seymour and the late Margaret Caster. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Gibson; brother, Seymour Caster; and her grandson, Scott Springer. Rose attended Paul V. Moore High School and graduated in 1960. She then attended OCC when she was 50, where she received her LPN License. Rose worked at University Hospital where she retired from in 2006. Rose enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a huge fan of Nascar. She loved to read and loved watching Dancing with the Stars with her sister, Loretta. Rose is survived by her children, Terri (Andrew) Wallace, Phyllis Harders, Scott Springer, Darrol (Deborah) Springer, Robin (Rodney) Himes, David (Beth) Springer, and Melissa Gladle; 19 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Loretta (George) Shelling; and several nieces and nephews.
